Day 57: August 14,2001 |
Puppies get a full bath on Evaluation Day!
Many layers of dirt from playing in the yard need be
scrubbed out.
An unbiased breeder evaluates the litter.
Each puppy is carefully measured and then observed moving.
At 8 weeks there is a window when puppies most likely represent what they will grow into.
This was an excellent litter!
All 4 were considered "Show".
Who will be the "Pick of the Litter"...

Day 59: August 16,2001 |
Puppies ride in a crate to the vet for their 2nd set of shots.
Bribery is used to help the puppies like being in a crate.
The fans are strategically placed and treats are given to
puppies who bravely enter the open crates.
Success! All four sleep the night comfortably in the crates.

Day 60: August 17,2001 |
Flying through the air is not suppose to be part of the hose game.
True colors are starting to show...
and this girl is proud of being so grounded.

Say, "Sammy" - its a Kodak moment!
Sometimes siblings are a pain in the side.
Mom is giving chase.

Godmother Lucy says goodbye to the pups.
Dueling voices.
