Day 8: June 26,2001 |
Tallie is allowed to get close enough for a sniff, and later a poke of the puppies (they squeak!).
Name tags are used for the webcam viewers
Tallie discovers she can watch the puppies on the webcam too!

Day 9: June 27,2001 |
Tallie has found a small white toy that squeaks when she pokes it, her new baby.
(and yes, she still has the same spot of pitch on her head)
Nails get a trimming! It works best when they're asleep.

It's good to have siblings!
Lined up to eat and sucking in unison.

Everyone's legs are getting stronger, walking without falling won't be far away!

Day 12: June 30,2001 |
Isbie is patient will all her puppies, and Tallie uses the opportunity to be a part of it.
Tallie tries out the whelping box, but gets up quickly if anyone comes looking for their dinner.

"If I could just get a little closer..."
Anticipation of a meal when Isbie enters the whelping box.

Day 14: July 2,2001 |
Eyes have started to open! First just partially and in a day or two everyone will have some sight. They can't see very well and don't have depth perception yet.
