It was not an easy delivery, but we have four wonderful puppies born today!

Day 2: June 20,2001 |
Isbie is still a little groggy, but the puppies are happy to be reunited after mom's surgery.

Day 3: June 21,2001 |
Anything to get a place to rest his head.
The puppies are all gaining weight each day. Still under a pound, but not for long!

Day 4: June 22,2001 |
Stacked up to eat.
The puppies had their first puppy sitter for the evening.

Day 6: June 24,2001 |
Tallie started to show interest in the puppies, but mother Isbie told her to keep her distance. So now Tallie has replaced her squeaky balls with a closer resemblance baby of her own to protect in the igloo.
Isbie is getting sleep near the whelping box in front of a fan.
You can't see me because I can't see you! The puppies are blind and deaf - it will be a couple weeks before they use more than their sense of smell to find Mom.
